Speaker Series
As part of our mission to highlight and disseminate the most relevant and impactful work on human development and climate change, DevSCA regularly hosts online Speaker Series talks where invited speakers discuss topics that align with our community’s particular interests. Past Speaker Series presentations have covered diverse topics ranging from reports on the latest academic research to community program leaders explaining their projects and long-serving advocates discussing their experiences working on climate-related policies.

Speaker Series talks are completely free and open to everyone: there’s absolutely no fee to attend a Speaker Series presentation, to ask questions during the Q&A sessions, or to participate in live-streamed panel discussions. However, only registered DevSCA members receive links to join the presentation live streams. DevSCA members can also nominate speakers for future sessions or give a Speaker Series presentation themselves.
We’d love to see you at the next Speaker Series session, so please consider joining our merry band of climate-conscious developmentalists (DevSCA membership is also completely free of charge).
